Zhengzhou University delivers a keynote speech at 2020 Annual Meeting of Chinese Association for Suzhi Education (CASE) and the Ninth High-level Forum of Quality Education in Universities

The Ninth High-level Forum of Quality Education in Universities and 2020 Annual Meeting of Chinese Association for Suzhi Education (CASE), sponsored by CASE and Henan University of Science and Technology, was held in Luoyang between October 15 and 17 under the theme “Quality Education: for Better Future”. The meeting was attended by more than 600 presidents and secretaries of the Party Committee, experts and students from over 200 universities, including Wang Yiqiu, Former Vice President of Peking University, and Zhang Qianhong, Vice President of Zhengzhou University, etc.

The morning of October 16 saw the opening ceremony at which speeches were given by Li Hezhang, Chairman of CASE and Vice President of Beijing Institute of Technology, and Jiang Enlai, Vice President and Secretary-General of China Association of Higher Education.

Zhang Qianhong, Vice President of Zhengzhou University, delivered a keynote speech entitled System of Zhengzhou University Cultural Cultivation Featuring the Central Plains Culture, sharing the system of Zhengzhou University cultural education based on the depth of central plains culture, abundant cultural cultivating resources, and improved cultural cultivating environment through four aspects, including the distribution of first-class disciplines, the promotion of central plains culture, the expansion of classroom instruction, and the creation of supreme cultural works.

This annual meeting set six forums and six sub-forums, including forum for presidents, forum for experts and scholars and forum for university students, etc. Prof. Luoyong of the School of Electrical Engineering of Zhengzhou University, and Prof. Zhu Xizhou of the School of Marxism of Zhengzhou University delivered speeches respectively on practical innovations in discipline competition and on blended learning of ideological and political course.
