Recently, the School of Chemistry of Zhengzhou University has made new progress in the field of activation of inert chemical bonds using organophosphorus compounds. The related results are published in a paper entitled “Cleavage of the Inert C(sp2)-Ar σ-Bond of Alkenes by a Spatial Constrained Interaction with Phosphinidene” in the leading chemical journal J. Am. Chem. Soc. The first author of the paper is Wang Junjian, a 2018 PhD student in the School of Chemistry, and the corresponding authors are Professor Wei Donghui and Professor Duan Zheng. Zhengzhou University is the first the affiliation of the first author.
