Recently, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and ACSF released the list of 2020 "Self-improvement Star of Chinese College Students" scholarships. Two 2018 undergraduates of ZZU, Jin Zhangyong from the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering and Huangfu Chenchen from the School of Management Engineering won the title of “Self-improvement Star of Chinese College Students”. Jin Zhangyong, who has got a postgraduate recommendation to Zhejiang University, has won a total of 21 awards in provincial sci-tech competitions, undertaken 2 national college students innovation projects, applied for 8 utility model patents and published 5 papers, including 2 SCI/EI papers. Huangfu Chenchen has won 4 national awards and more than 10 provincial awards, as well as 7 national individual patents and 1 software copyright.
