On the morning of August 15, ZZU solemnly held the second graduation ceremony and degree awarding ceremony in 2020. The ceremony took the form of offline and online “cloud graduation ceremony”. More than 200 graduate representatives attended the on-site ceremony, and more than 1500 graduates watched the ceremony online. Song Zhenghui, Liu jiongtian, Li Xingcheng, Gu Zhenqing, Xu Dongsheng, Guan Shaokang, Han Guohe, Zhao Mingzhu, Dong Zigang, Wu Yangjie, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and chief professor of the School of Chemistry, members of the academic degree committee and the main responsible comrades of the departments attended the ceremony and sat down on the rostrum. Responsible comrades of all units in the university attended the graduation ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Gu Zhenqing, deputy secretary of the school party committee and chairman of the labor union.Guan Shaokang, member of the academic degree evaluation committee and vice president, announced the degree award decision of the school degree evaluation committee and presided over the award ceremony

Liu Jiongtian, vice chairman of Henan Provincial Committee of the C.P.P.C.C. and President of ZZU, awarded degrees to the representatives of doctoral graduates, master graduates and undergraduate graduates respectively.

Representatives of undergraduate students, Liu Jiaqi of School of information engineering, graduate student representative, Xiao Yang of Academy of Medical Sciences, teacher representative and Dean of Chemical Engineering College Cao Yijun, and parent representative Ning Xihong spoke respectively.

Liu Jiongtian delivered a speech on the topic of “the choice of study, the attitude of life”. On behalf of the school, he congratulated the second batch of graduates and expressed his thanks to teachers and parents.
