Recently, the Publicity Department of the Henan Provincial Party Committee of the CPC and the Henan Science and Technology Association jointly issued the “Notice on Commending the Advanced Collectives and Advanced Individuals for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19, Emergency Response and Popularization of Science in Henan”. 110 collectives with outstanding performance in Henan Province for epidemic prevention and control, resumption of work and production and emergency response as well popularization of science were awarded the title of “Advanced Group for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, Emergency Response and Popularization of Science in Henan”, and 113 comrades were awarded the title of “Advanced Individual for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, Emergency Response and Popularization of Science in Henan”.

A total of 7 collectives and 6 individuals from ZZU were commended for their outstanding scientific performance in epidemic prevention and control. The 7 collectives, ie., the School of Nursing and Health, the First Affiliated Hospital, the Second Affiliated Hospital, the Health Education Department of the Third Affiliated Hospital, the Fifth Affiliated Hospital, and the PhD lecturers Mission from the Peopleˊs Hospital of ZZU （Henan Provincial Peopleˊs Hospital） as well as the Cancer Hospital Affiliated to ZZU （Henan Provincial Cancer Hospital） won the title of “Advanced Group for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, Emergency Response and Popularization of Science in Henan”; 6 comrades, namely Mei Yongxia, Zhang Chunhui from School of Nursing and Health, Cheng Jingliang from the First Affiliated Hospital, Liu Furong from the Third Affiliated Hospital, Wu Rui from the Fifth Affiliated Hospital, Wang Meiyun from the People’s Hospital of ZZU were awarded the title of “Advanced Individuals for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, Emergency Response and Popularization of Science in Henan”.
