Recently, the Key Laboratory of Materials Physics of the School of Physics, ZZU has made positive progress in mixed-dimensional van der Waals heterojunction wide-band photodetectors. The related results, entitled “Mixed-dimensional PdSe2/SiNWA heterostructure based photovoltaic detectors for self-driven, broadband photodetection, infrared imaging and humidity sensing” was published in Journal of Materials Chemistry A and was included in the “Hot papers” of the magazine. ZZU is the first unit, and associate professor Wu Zhai of the School of Physics is the first author, Dr. Zeng Longhui of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Prof. Jie Jiansheng of Suzhou University are the corresponding authors. This work provides a good reference for the design and construction of high-performance polarization-sensitive broad-spectrum photodetectors and lays a foundation for their further application. The research was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the ZZU Physics Discipline Promotion Program.
