Recently, the group of associate professor Lu Siyu from the School of Chemistry of ZZU has made new progress in the field of controllable carbon dots preparation and synthesis materials by establishing a universal method for preparing carbonized polymer dots and nanocrystalline hybrid materials with carbon dots as the building unit. The related results were published in the top chemistry journal Angewandte Chemie International Edition with the title of “A General Route to Prepare Low-Ruthenium-Content Bimetallic Electrocatalysts for pH-Universal Hydrogen Evolution Reaction by Using Carbon Quantum Dots”, and the first author is ZZU PhD student Liu Yuan, the corresponding author is associate professor Lu Siyu and Prof. Zhang Tierui of Techincal Institute of Physics and Chemistry, CAS, and ZZU is the first communication unit. The research was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Fund, and the ZZU Youth Special Fund.
