Recently, Li Shenming, president of the Institute of Political Science （IPS）, honorary dean and chief professor of the School of Politics and Public Administration of ZZU, delivered an academic report on “Strategic Opportunities and Challenges Facing China after the Novel Coronavirus Epidemic and Related Responses” for teachers and students. The report meeting was held in the form of an online Tencent meeting, attended by relevant responsible comrades of the Graduate School, all members of the party and government team of the School of Politics and Public Administration, and more than 300 teachers and students.

Li’s report focuses on six aspects: “the prospect of the world’s future after the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia”, “the necessity of the adjustment of the world pattern and the adjustment of Sino US relations”, “strive for the worst, strive for the best results”, “understanding of several related issues”, “persist in domestic reform, stability and development”. He pointed out that, in view of the complex and profound changes in the situation at home and abroad, China must adhere to the leadership of the Party Central Committee with the core of general secretary Xi Jinping. （School of Politics and Public Administration）
