ZZU Becomes a Full Member of Belle II International Cooperation Group of High Energy Physics

Recently, ZZU became a full member of the Belle II International Cooperation Group at the 36th Belle II International Cooperation Group Meeting, being the 10th mainland university to join the Belle II International Cooperation Group after the Institute of High Energy Physics, CAS, Fudan University, Peking University, University of Science and Technology of China, Beihang University (BUAA) , Liaoning Normal University, Suzhou University, Shandong University, and Nanjing Normal University.

The School of Physics, ZZU has been selecting teacher teams to participate in the Belle II experiment for a long time, which has played an active role in the construction and development of Belle II. In recent years, the School of Physics has been actively taking advantage of the characteristics of its disciplines and has joined large-scale scientific facilities and international cooperation organizations, such as the Beijing Spectrometer III (BESIII) International Cooperation Group, Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) International Cooperation Group, Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO) Cooperation Group, Tai Chi Project, etc. The successful entry into the Belle II High Energy Physics International Cooperation Group will further deepen the exchanges and cooperation between ZZU and the other members of the cooperation groups, promote the international development of physics, and enhance ZZU’s academic and scientific research influence.
