Recently, the 2019 China （Henan）-Germany （Lower Saxony）International Cooperation and Exchanges Forum of Science, Education and Humanities, jointly sponsored by ZZU, Foreign Affairs Office of Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee, Zhengzhou Federation of overseas Chinese and Zhengzhou Newspaper Group, was held in Zhengzhou.

President Academician Liu Jiongtian met with the German delegation, headed by Prof.Thomas Hanschke, commissioner for Chinese affairs of the German government of Lower Saxony and former president of Clausthal University of Technology.

Liu hoped to take this forum as an opportunity to deepen the friendship between ZZU and Clausthal University of Technology, promote exchanges between two sides in the fields of science, technology and education, and strengthen practical cooperation between Henan Province and Lower Saxony.

At the meeting, Prof. Thomas Hanschke introduced the basic situation of enterprises in the State of Lower Saxon in Germany, and expounded the prospects of Sino-German science, education, humanities and economic and trade cooperation. Prof. Dietmar Möller of Clausthal University of Technology introduced cutting-edge technologies in information physics systems and network security, as well as their specific applications in industrial 4.0.

In the on-the-spot exchange session, entrepreneurs, university teachers, students, and media representatives actively spoke on the prospects of Sino-German economic, trade, scientific, and educational cooperati（translator Zhang Shanming）on, the development of Germany’s Hidden Champion SMEs, and innovative training in higher education, etc.
