Recently, Mr. Rudolph Scharping, a famous German expert on social and economic strategy and a senior statesman, and his entourage paid a visit to ZZU.

Han Guohe, member of the standing Committee of the Party Committee and vice president of ZZU, met with the visiting guests.

Han Guohe introduced ZZU in terms of the construction of a first-class university, internationalization of school-running and cultural exchanges and cooperation with Germany, and hoped to further strengthen cooperation with German universities.

Rudolph Sharping expressed his appreciation for the achievements made by ZZU in talent training, international exchanges and cooperation, and hoped to provide help and support for the construction of educational platform for intelligent manufacturing between China and Germany, and the exchange activities of ZZU medical students and teachers in Germany.

Scharping and his entourage subsequently exchanged views with the students of the Sino-German Outstanding Engineering Class, who will go to Germany for exchange and study in the winter semester of 2019.

A visiting professor appointment ceremony for Rudolph Scharping was also held at Sino-German College.
