Recently, School of Physics and Engineering of ZZU has made progress in the research of high polarization sensitive two-dimensional heterojunction photodetectors with wide light spectrum.

The related result was published in the well-known international journal ACS Nano in a paper entitled ”Highly Polarization-Sensitive, Broadband, Self-Powered Photodetector Based on Graphene/PdSe2/Germanium Heterojunction”.

This paper was completed jointly with Suzhou University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Henan Normal University. ZZU is the first-author unit. The first author is Associate Professor Wu Zhai, School of Physics and Engineering of ZZU, Prof. Jie Jiansheng of Suzhou University and Prof. Yuen Hong Tsang of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
