From September 20 to 22, the International Forum of Young Scholars of ZZU - Engineering Safety and Disaster Prevention Sub-forum and Agriculture and Life Science Sub-forum were held on the main campus. Vice President Wu Hongyang attended the event, joining more than 40 young scholars from home and abroad from 8 countries and regions.

Wu Hongyang delivered an opening speech for the two forums. He noted that excellent research teams and high-level talents are the core of first-class discipline construction and young talents are the backbone of discipline construction. He hoped that more outstanding young scholars would join ZZU and contribute to accelerating the construction of ZZU as a first-class university.

The meeting introduced the development opportunities of Henan Province and Zhengzhou City, the high-level talent policy of the school and the basic situation of each sponsor unit.

At the forum, young scholars, in light of their own specialties, focused on the development needs and future developments in their respective fields, gave reports on academic issues in relevant fields, shared research results and experiences, and made heated and extensive discussions on the frontier issues of this discipline.
