On October 14th, heading a 10-member delegation, Vice President Charles Bankart of the University of Kansas visited ZZU. Vice President Zhang Qianhong met with visitors on the main campus. The chiefs of the relevant units of ZZU attended the meeting.

Zhang Qianhong introduced the basic situation of ZZU, especially the progress made on ZZUˊs first-class university construction and international development. She hoped that the visit by Bankart and his entourage will further deepen the friendship between the two sides, and on the basis of the original cooperation, substantive cooperation will be carried out in the interdisciplinary fields such as medicine and music.

Bankart introduced the basic situation of the University of Kansas and the medical cooperation with ZZU. He said that Kansas attaches great importance to deepening cooperation with ZZU and long-term friendship between two sides, and hoped that the two universities will deepen cooperation in music therapy. Subsequently, the two sides negotiated on specific cooperation projects before reaching a consensus.

After the meeting, Bankart and his entourage held discussions with chiefs of relevant departments and affiliated hospitals on how to carry out cooperation.
