On October 20th, the 44th ACM International College Student Program Design Contest Asian Regional Competition was successfully concluded in Yinchuan, which attracted more than 400 teams from 225 universities including Peking University and Zhejiang University, etc.

With the School of Information Engineering in charge of selecｔion and formation, Zhao Dongming and Wu Yunpeng appointed as the instructors, ZZU participated in the competition. After a fierce competition, the team of Huang Zhongyuan, Chen Yang and Su Tong finally won the gold medal with excellent results, ranking 5th among all teams, and the 4th among all schools. This is the first time that the ZZU team has won the gold medal in the competition since participation in 2006. It is also the first gold medal of the event in the history of colleges and universities in Henan Province. A silver medal was won by the team of Liu Jinhuang, Cai Wenchuan and Xue Qianqian, and a bronze medal by the team of Dong Xuecong, Zhao Longyu and Ma Hanzhang.
