From November 26th to 28th, the 5th China-Japan Education Exchange Conference, hosted by CEAIE and organized by Japan-China Cultural Exchange Center, was held in Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Nearly 400 school leaders, teachers and students from 116 famous universities in China and Japan, including Dalian University of Technology, Renmin University of China, Kyoto University and Waseda University, participated in the event. Vice President Wu Hongyang led a delegation to attend this meeting.
This session of exchange conference held two sub-forums named ”China-Japan University Presidents Forum” and ”China-Japan Medical Exchange Forum”. Representatives of the two sides discussed relevant issues deeply. Chinese university representative and Japanese university representative conducted one-on-one in-depth exchanges.
According to the meeting schedule, Wu Hongyang led the Chinese university delegation to visit Kobe University and visited two graduate students pursuing doctoral degrees at Kobe University who are funded by the Overseas Virtual Research Institute of ZZU.
Then, Wu Hongyang headed the delegation to visit Kyoto University, and had in-depth exchanges with experts, scholars and overseas talents at Kyoto University.(translator Yang Qiuqiu)
