On April 11, Professor Yang Xiongli, a famous neurobiologist, physiologist and academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was appointed as honorary dean of Institute of Neuroscience, ZZU. President Academician Liu Jiongtian attended the ceremony and issued the appointment letter for Academician Yang Xiongli.

Liu Jiongtian introduced the basic situation of Zhengzhou University and Institute of Neuroscience. He pointed out that Academician Yang Xiongli, as a well-known expert in neuroscience, would definitely play an important role in promoting the development of ZZU neurobehavioral discipline. President Liu believes that under the leadership of Academician Yang Xiongli, the research work of the Institute will make greater progress and the level of disciplinary construction will be higher.

Academician Yang Xiongli said that he would spare no effort in fulfilling his duties and promote the work of Institute of Neuroscience to a new level, contributing to the construction of neurobehavioral discipline and first-class university construction.
