On July 22, ZZU held Opening Ceremony of Yunus Social Enterprise Center and Professor Emeritus Appointment Ceremony for Yunus. Nobel Laureate, the founder of Grameen Bank, Yunus, member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Dean of Zhengzhou University Business School, Jin Bei, Vice President Qu Lingbo of ZZU, and Vice President Wu Hongyang of ZZU, attended the meeting, joined by representatives of universities and financial institutions in the province, ZZU teachers and students representatives.

Qu Lingbo noted that appointment of Yunus as Professor Emeritus r and establishment of Yunus Social Enterprise Center of ZZU is a dynamic integration of Prof.Yunus’s practice in the field of inclusive finance and social enterprises and ZZU’s high-quality disciplinary resources. And ZZU will strive to build the center into a first-class scientific research platform and hereby form a new discipline growth point.

Qu Lingbo presented a letter of appointment to Yunus, and the leaders and guests of the conference jointly unveiled Yunus Social Enterprise Center of ZZU.
