From August 24th to 26th, the 11th World Chinese Pharmaceutical Chemistry Symposium, hosted by the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Committee of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and organized by ZZU, was held in Zhengzhou. The symposium was chaired by Chen Kaixian, academician of CAS and chairman of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association. Zhang Lihe and Yue Jianmin, academician of CAS, Chen Fener, academician of CAE, Prof. Wang Shaomeng, editor-in-chief of the internationally renowned journal named Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Prof. Brian Blagg, deputy editor of the journal, Prof. Wang Binghe, editor-in-chief of Medicinal Research Reviews, and Prof. Dennis C. Liotta, editor-in-chief of ACS Medicinal Chemistry Letters, were invited to attend the conference and deliver speeches. 1,393 delegates from the United States, Europe, South Korea,Chinese Mainland, Taiwan China, Chinese Hong Kong and Chinese Macau attended the symposium.(translator Yang Qiuqiu）
