On July 17, the chief eｘecutive of University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB) Dame Julie Moore visited our university. President Academician Liu Jiongtian and Vice President Gu Zhenqing met with visitors.

Liu hoped that the two sides will strengthen cooperation, enhance the exchanges of high-level talents and the sharing of resources, work together to improve the level of medical development of both sides, promote the ZZU’s construction of world first-class university, and boost the strategic implementation of a Healthy China and a Healthy Central Plains, thereby making active contributions to the progress of the medical careers of both sides.

Julie hoped that both sides will cooperate in healthcare, scientific research, teaching, training, etc., strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, and jointly improve the capabilities of meeting the challenges from diseases.
