On August 27th, the university students delegation of Japanese Shaolin Boxing Union visited ZZU. Zong Yougui, President of Japanese Shaolin Boxing Union, Miura Nobuyuki, Head of the delegation of Japanese Shaolin Boxing Union, Zhu Dan, Deputy Director of the Japanese department of Chinese Peopleˊs Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Zhang Xiaoping, Head of the Japanese department of Chinese Peopleˊs Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Li Zhen, Vice President of the Peopleˊs Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries of Henan Province, and Han Guohe, Vice President of ZZU, participated in the welcoming ceremony.

Li Zhen hopes that this activity will further deepen Japanese young friends’ understanding of Henan Province and cultivate the follow-up forces of folk friendship between Chinese and Japanese.

Han Guohe hopes that Japanese Shaolin Boxing Union will continue to pay attention to and support the development of ZZU in the future, and better play the role of Sino-Japanese cultural exchange bridge.

Miura Nobuyuki hopes that this visit will deepen the understanding and identification of values of young people in both countries and enhance the friendship between Chinese and Japanese.

After the welcoming ceremony, members of the delegation and Japanese language teachers and students of the School of Foreign Languages of ZZU held a colloquium on the theme of ”Chinese culture in Japan and Japanese culture in China”.（translator Yang Qiuqiu）
