From September 19th to 22nd, the 2018 International Symposium on Intelligent Control and Optimization hosted by ZZU was held on the main campus. Vice President Qu Lingbo of ZZU attended the conference, joining foreign experts and scholars from US, Australia, UK, Poland and other countries, meeting experts and researchers of domestic universities and research institutions such as the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nankai University, Hunan University, Shandong University, Tsinghua University, Northeastern University, Zhengzhou Institute of Light Industry, etc.

In his speech, Qu Lingbo spoke highly of the academic value of this conference and wished the conference a complete success. Academician David H. Owens, Director of Robotic Perception and Control, Henan Provincial Engineering Laboratory, delivered a welcome speech.

At the conference, 14 experts and scholars from abroad respectively made a theme report, discussing the latest research results and industry applications in the fields of iterative learning control, robot perception and control, etc.

During the session, the first academic committee meeting of the Robotics Perception and Control of Henan Province and the nameplate-unveiling ceremony of the “Zhengzhou University-DIH” Joint Laboratory of Intelligent Rehabilitation Technology were held.（translator Song Gencheng）
