Recently, ZZU held a forum for students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. ZZU leaders Liu Jiongtian, Zhang Qianhong, and Han Guohe attended the forum. The comrades of relevant functional departments and schools, student counselors as well as student representatives from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan attended the meeting. Jia Shaoxin, Deputy Secretary of the Committee of CPC, ZZU, presided over the meeting.

At the seminar, representatives of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students shared their feelings of studying and living on campus, and made suggestions on the difficulties and problems encountered in their study and life. The leaders of participating departments and comrades of relevant departments answered relevant questions on the spot, defined work that needs to be implemented after the meeting, and expressed hopes and blessings for students’ future study and life.

President Academician Liu Jiongtian made a concluding speech. He said that ZZU would make some more humane system design and arrangement according to characteristics of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students to help them learn and live better. He hopes that Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students will actively adapt to the environment, uphold the spirit of ”seeking truth; undertaking responsibility”, study hard, pursue excellence, and be good ZZU students.（translator Yang Qiuqiu）
