On November 3, the annual meeting of the 2018 International Forum on higher Education was held in Ningbo. Du Yubo, President of Higher Education Academy of China, former Deputy Secretary of the party group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education, attended the meeting, joined by more than 1100 experts and scholars from 15 countries as well as more than 100 universities and related institutions in China.

Academician Liu Jiongtian, Vice-President of China Society of Higher Education and President of ZZU, attended the meeting and delivered a keynote report entitled “Universities Serve the Society: cultural guidance, talent support, scientific support- Times Requirements and Internal Logic of the Extension Development of Universities”.（translator Song Gencheng）
