Delegation Headed by ZZU Leaders Visits Universities in Taiwan

Recently, invited by Ming Chuan University and Fo Guang University in Taiwan, Vice President Han Guohe headed a delegation to Taiwan for cooperation and exchange activities. Chiefs of related departments were members of the delegation.

Vice President Han and his delegation were invited to participate in the 61st anniversary celebration of Ming Chuan University. During the event, President of Ming Chuan University Li Quan, and its Vice President Wang Jinlong met with the delegation of ZZU. Both sides signed the Agreement on Cooperative Personnel Development.

On March 26th, Vice President Han and his delegation met with President of Fo Guang University Yang Chaoxiang and its Vice President Liu Sanqi. School of History and School of Liberal Arts of ZZU and School of Humanities of Fo Guang University signed a memorandum on joint training of personnel and academic exchanges. Both sides reached important consensus on cooperation, especially on short-term exchanges in Taiwan for ZZU teachers and students.

On March 27th, Vice President Han and his delegation visited the Central University of Taiwan and had a seminar with Li Guanghua, Vice President of the Central University, discussing the training of high-level talents and cooperation in related fields.

During the visit, Vice President Han and his delegation also visited relevant history study institutions in Taiwan and conducted preliminary consultations on issues related to cross-strait cooperation in advancing dominant history and culture disciplines of ZZU.(translator Yang Qiuqiu)
