On May 9th, Prof. Jin Bei, Member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and former Director of the Institute of Industrial Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, was appointed as Dean of Business School of ZZU. School leaders like Liu Jiongtian, Xu Dongsheng and Wu Hongyang attended the appointment ceremony.

Appointment documents were read at the meeting and President Liu Jiongtian presented the appointment letter for Prof. Jin Bei.

Prof. Jin Bei said he would make every effort to contribute to the development of the school, to further improve the academic and teaching level as well as promote the transformation of the business school, so as to make contributions to the construction of first-rate ZZU.

President Liu Jiongtian noted that the appointment of Prof. Jin Bei as Dean of the Business School is based on the strategic consideration of the transformation and development of our university and business school. Full support will be given to the work of Dean Jin Bei and the development of the Business School. He hoped that the Business School could come up with good disciplinary construction plans and push various work to embark upon a new journey and reach a new level.

Member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Jin Bei, is the former director of the Institute of industrial economics of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences as well as Ph.D. Supervisor; He is President of China Business News; President of China Regional Economic Association, Vice President of China Industrial Economics Association and Editor-in-chief of China Economist.
