On May 10, the second global cross-border e-commerce conference was held in Zhengzhou. The theme of the conference was “Cross-border E-Commerce in Support of World Trade Development”. The opening ceremony, the summit and a series of parallel forums were held. Ma Wei, Member of the Standing Committee of Henan Provincial Committee of the CPC and Secretary of the Zhengzhou Municipal Party Committee, Long Yongtu, Co-Chairman of the Global CEO Development Conference, Chairman of the China and Globalization Think Tank, Chairman of the Global Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference, as well as Director of Economic Cooperation and Trade of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe gave speeches respectively. The opening ceremony was hosted by Mr. He Jinping, Vice Governor of Henan Province.

On the afternoon of the E International Trade New Standards and Regulations Innovation and Development Forum, Vice President Qu Lingbo of Zhengzhou University signed a cooperation framework agreement with Mr. Xu Ping, President of the Henan Institute of International Digital Trade and also President of the Henan Bonded Group to establish a cooperation framework agreement for the EWTO Institute of Zhengzhou University before unveiling the nameplate of the new College.

On the forum, President academician Liu Jiongtian, made a speech. He said that the EWTO Academy of Zhengzhou University will focus on the development of international trade, bringing together global innovation resources and talent teams, building an EWTO research system, organization system, and education system, building an open research-oriented academy, and providing strategic planning and policy consultation as well as professional and technical advice for governments and enterprises.(translator Song Gencheng)
