On September 25 in Beijing, President Liu Jiongtian met with President Brian Nelson of Danish Aarhus University.

President Liu reviewed the cooperation between two schools in medical education and scientific research. He hoped that two sides would expand their cooperation to other disciplines on the basis of strengthening current cooperation and promote mutual exchanges and joint training of undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral candidates, and carrying out substantial cooperation in the relevant disciplines.

President Nelson spoke highly of bilateral cooperation in the field of medicine, hoping to actively promote students exchanges of other disciplines and gradually escalate into a comprehensive student joint training, and realize all-round substantial cooperation as soon as possible.

After the talks, President Liu attended the opening ceremony of Sino-Danmark Education Center Building which was jointly set up by University of Chinese Academy of Science and the Danish universities.
