From March 5 to 7, President Michael Bratacos’s delegation of National Technical University of Athens visited ZZU. President Liu Jiongtian and Vice President Han Guohe met the guests. The related chiefs of certain departments joined the meeting.

President Liu introduced the general situation and school-running characteristics of ZZU, expressed his appreciation for the efforts and contribution on the part of National Technical University of Athens in the joint cooperation. He wished both sides could move forward on deepening and extending mutual cooperation fields, further strengthen the cooperation in postgraduate joint training, and promote the mutual development of two universities, communication and cooperation between two cultures and two countries.

For his part, President Michael introduced their situation in terms of disciplines, majors and international cooperation, etc, wishing both sides to strengthen postgraduate training, Chinese teaching and jointly applying for Confucius Institute and further deepen exchanges and cooperation.

After the meeting, two presidents on behalf of both universities signed 2017-2018 EU “Erasmus Plus” cooperation agreement. Then President Michael’s delegation made a visit of exchanges to the School of History, the School of Tourism Management and the School of Fine Arts where he delivered an academic lecture.(translator Song Gencheng)
