On April 20, Prof. Jimmy Chen, CEO of New Zealand UUNZ Institute of Business, Chairman of ZZU New Zealand Alumni Association visited ZZU. President Academician Liu Jiongtian and Vice President Han Guohe met with the guests.

President Liu introduced the efforts of ZZU in promoting “Double First-rate” construction and internalization, reasserting ZZU will coherently and actively conduct communication and cooperation with universities of New Zealand. President Liu went into in-depth discussion with Prof. Jimmy Chen over the affairs of running school in New Zealand, who reached a preliminary intention on ZZU’s research in Maori Culture in New Zealand.

Prof. Jimmy Chen introduced the general situation of ZZU alumni in New Zealand, and brought their greeting to Alma Mater, wishing to make contribution to Alma Mater’s development. The year of 2017 marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between China and New Zealand, and major celebrations will be held to mark it.
