On April 7, Canadian team of experts engaged in public service activity, “Contemporary Bethune Action” visited ZZU, holding academic forums. Vice President Gu Zhenqing attended the seminar, joining the chiefs of related functional departments, Medical schools and departments, the affiliated Zhengzhou Central Hospital, and teachers and students.

Vice President Gu Zhengqing addressed the seminar, pointing out as of 2014, the famous medical experts from the hometown of Comrade Bethune in Canada came to work in the Affiliated Central Hospital of ZZU，regardless of payment, providing health consultation, academic lectures and medical service. This is the very practice of setting Bethune as example and carrying forward Bethune’s spirit. They not only brought internationally top medical skills, medical conceptions, but also presented their noble spirit via their liberal contribution, saving the lives, great physicians blessed with absolute sincerity. He said further efforts would be made on propaganda, service and guarantee, ensuring a more substantial fruit by making greater contribution for the medical education and medical healthcare in Central China.
