ZZU Attends the 11th Sino-Japan University Exhibition and Forum IN China 2017

From May 13 to 14, Vice President Liu Guoji on behalf of ZZU attended the 11th Sino-Japan University Exhibition and Forum IN China 2017 held in Shanghai. This forum was jointly hosted by Japan Science and Technology Agency and the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, attracting over 30 heads of Japanese famous universities and over 40 heads of Chinese university delegations to join.

During the meeting, Vice President Liu respectively met with Yoshihito Watanabe, Vice President of Nagoya University, Kazihiro Ema, Vice President of Sophia University, Yuichi Tanibe, President of Yokohama National University, and Akira Huijisima, President of Tokyo University of Science, and Seiji Yamamoto, Vice President of Hamamatsu University School of Medicine. Vice President Liu Guoji introduced the general situation of running school and characteristic & preponderant disciplines of ZZU, and also saw the features and advantaged of other universities. A preliminary intention of cooperation was reached with these universities in terms of exchanges of staff and students, research cooperation etc. Vice President Liu also held a talk with Kazuki Okimura, the founder of Sakura Science Program in Science, special advisor of Japan Science and Technology Agency over promoting ZZU’s staff and students going to Japan for a short-term training, etc.(translator Song Gencheng)
