Recently, a delegation of undergraduate boxers from Japanese Shorinji Kempo visited our school and we held a welcoming ceremony. Ms. Yukisou, President of Shorinji Kempo, Zhang Xiaoping, Director of Chinese Peopleˊs Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Li Zhen, Full-time Vice Chairman of Henan Peopleˊs Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Vice President Han Guohe of ZZU were present at the ceremony, joined by more than 50 teachers and students of Japanese department from the School of Foreign Languages.

After introducing the basic situation of ZZU, Vice President Han hoped that Shorinji Kempo could continue to care and support the development of ZZU in the future and make better use of the bridge of cultural exchanges between China and Japan, so as to coherently promote the cultural exchanges between the two countries.

Ms. Yukisou hoped that this visit can deepen the understanding of Japanese youth about China, promote the exchanges between Sino-Japan youth. Meanwhile, she wished that both sides will further exchanges and cooperation to make contributions to the friendship between Sino-Japan people.(translator Song Gencheng)
