Professor Li Yong, president of Australian Association of Chinese Biomedical Scientists from Australia, led a delegation to visit Zhengzhou University on 26th, May. President of Zhengzhou University, Liu Jongtian, an academician of China Engineering Academy, met with the visiting guests.

President Liu Jongtian introduced the primary situation, development course and development ideas of both the university and medicine science. Mr. Liu pointed out that the Australian Association of Chinese Biomedical Scientists and Zhengzhou University have a good basis for cooperation and an extensive cooperation prospect, hoping the both sides can exercise their own strengths and build a cooperative and effective long-term mechanism to conduct in-depth practical cooperation in aspects such as medical sciences and high-level talent cultivation.

President Li Yong gave a brief introduction to the basic situation of the association and expressed the desire to cooperate and exchange with Zhengzhou University. He said the association will fully act as a bridge and link to promote the cooperation and exchange between Zhengzhou University and leading universities in Australia.

During their visit, the visiting guests visited the laboratories of basic medical department and delivered a lecture on medicine to teachers and students.
