Professor Hou Zhengmeng, director of the School of Rock Mechanics at Germany’s Clausthal Technical University andChina Affairs Director, visited Zhengzhou University on March 29th. Liu Jiongtian, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of the Zhengzhou University, and Vice President Zhang Qianhong met with him.

President Liu Jiongtian introduced the history of Zhengzhou University, school running scale, and its construction and development. He hoped through the visit of Professor Hou to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between Zhengzhou University and Clausthal Technical University. Professor Hou said he would spare no efforts in promoting the exchanges and cooperation between the two universities.

Both sides had in-depth discussions on the field and mode of their cooperation and reached a preliminary cooperation intention on the joint training and exchanges of their students.
