On November 28, Prof. G. Viswanathan, President of Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), visited Zhengzhou University along with another two colleagues. Vice President Han Guohe met with the foreign guests.

Vice President Han hoped that the two universities will further expand the frontier of cooperation and jointly carry out the cooperative training project about undergraduates, masters and doctors on the basis of strengthening the existing cooperation projects. He said, Zhengzhou University will, as always, support the construction and development of the Confucius Institute in VIT to promote educational and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

President Viswanathan said that Zhengzhou University is an important partner of VIT and they will endeavor to promote the close cooperation with Zhengzhou University in the joint training of students, international scientific research projects, educational and cultural exchanges, etc. President Viswanathan invited the leadership of Zhengzhou University to visit VIT at a proper time.

During the visit, President Viswanathan attended and made a keynote report at the 13th Global Congress on Manufacturing and Management (GCMM) jointly organized by Zhengzhou University, Vellore Institute of Technology and Queensland University of Technology.
