On January 14, Chairman Jan C﹒Fransoo of IKF sent a letter to Academician Liu Jiongtian, President of Zhengzhou University, announcing the approval of establishment of the International Korfball Development Research Center in Zhengzhou University.

Chairman Jan C﹒Fransoo said in the letter, “Korfball has had a good development in China over the past ten years. Zhengzhou University and Prof. Ma Xiangcheng have played decisive roles in the development of China Korfball. At the same time, Physical Education College of Zhengzhou University has also made a huge contribution in Korfball studies.”
