On the afternoon of July 31, the press conference of Henan Social Governance Development Report （2020） （hereinafter referred to as “The Report”） was held in Zhengzhou. The report, written by ZZU Collaborative Innovation Center for Henan Province and published by Social Science Literature Publishing House, is the seventh blue book on social governance since 2014.

This press conference adopts the mode of “online & offline”. Yang Xuedong, director of the sixth Research Department of the Central Academy of Party History and Literature, Xie Yahong, editor-in-chief of China Administration magazine, Li Gengxiang, president of Henan Federation of Social Sciences, Gu Jianquan, president of Henan Academy of Social Sciences, Yang Mingjie, deputy director of Xinhua News Agency Henan Branch, Liang Haoguo, second-class inspector of Henan Civil Affairs Department, Yang Xiaoqiang, director of the Theory Department of Henan Provincial Party Committee propaganda Department, Zheng Yongkou, director of ZZU Collaborative Innovation Center for Henan Province, attended the press conference.

Responsible comrades of the Department of Social Sciences, the School of Politics and Management, and members of the report research group also attended the conference.

Qu Lingbo, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of ZZU, delivered an online speech. He introduced the research results and theoretical contributions of ZZU and the Collaborative Innovation Center for Henan Province in the field of social governance, and looked forward to the valuable opinions on the construction and development of the center.

At the press conference, the data sources, blue book features, research findings and future assumptions of the report were introduced. The leaders and experts at the meeting spoke highly of the report. They agreed that the report has distinctive features, shows the latest achievements and cutting-edge developments in social governance in Henan Province, and provides a reference for system innovation, methods and methods of social governance in Henan Province.

Prof. Zheng Yongkou made a concluding speech. He hopes to deepen the collaborative innovation between the center and the government, society and the media, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and build a platform and carrier for the compilation of the report.
