Recently, the team of Prof. Pang Xinchang, ZZU has made positive progress in the research of semiconductor quantum dots. The relevant results, entitled”Size Effect of Semiconductor Quantum Dots as Photocatalysts for PET-RAFT Polymerization”, were published in the journal Polymer Chemistry. At the same time, it was also the cover article of Polymer Chemistry.

This research was supported by the International Joint Research Laboratory for Active Polymerization and Functional Nanomaterials of Henan. The first author of this paper was the 2016 Ph.D. student Liang Yachao and the 2017 master student Ma Huanhuan. The corresponding authors were Dr. Qiao Xiaoguang and Prof. Pang Xinchang from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, ZZU, Henan Province Industrial Technology Research Institute of Resource and Materials.
