On the morning of November 22, the round table meeting of secretaries and presidents of colleges and universities jointly built by ministry and province, sponsored by Zhengzhou University, was held in Zhengzhou. Cao Fei, researcher from the Development and Planning Department of the Ministry of Education, Chen Guoqing, President of Inner Mongolia University, Lin Wenxun, Secretary of the Party Committee of Yuannan University, Song Bao’an, President of Guizhou University, Liu Chengmei, vice president of Nanchang University, Li Xing, Secretary of Party Committee of Ningxia University, Yao Qiang, president of Xinjiang University，Wu Yaoting and Ye Guangming, vice president of Hainan University, Song Zhenghui, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhengzhou University, Liu Jiongtian, vice chairman of Henan Provincial of CPPCC, president of Zhengzhou University, attended the meeting. Wang zongming, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president of Zhengzhou University, presided over the meeing.

According to Song Zhenghui, Zhengzhou University will firmly grasp the opportunity for the construction of the joint colleges and universities, actively implement the development of the Ministry of Education, connect various supporting measures and effectively transform the policy advantages into development advantages, enhance the development in all around ways and accelerate the pace of first class university construction.

Cai Fei put forward three proposals on the research work of ministry and province joint construction, Firstly, with the planning department of the ministry of Education taking a lead in coordinating new tasks and new projects, colleges and universities should provide sufficient supporting resources and do a good job in combining and refining the research results. The second is to carry out publicity and promotion. Third is to do both theoretical and practical research while giving priority to practical research, making sure that all the researches are effective and guiding.

Liu Jiongtian expressed his idea that with the sign of joint construction, Zhengzhou University had entered a new pattern of development, characterized by “ first-class” University. It is hoped that the colleges and universities jointly constructed by ministry and provinces can work together, and form consistency. Actively call on the ministry of Education to support the normalization of the policy and to provide a better environment for the joint development.

At the meeting, representatives from 14 colleges and universities conducted a report, exchanging and discussing 14 sub topics, including the strategic significance of the joint built, the policy evolution and the supporting policy from the counterpart. Researchers from relevant areas of Zhengzhou University reported on the cooperation and promotion of the education block chain alliance jointly built by the ministry and province.
