Recently, the inauguration ceremony of the New Zealand Education Exchange Center of Zhengzhou University is heldinthe main campus.The meeting is conductedbothonline and offline.Li Yanguang, education consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Auckland, Yang Zongze, Auckland City Council member and mayor representative, Yang Jian, former member of the New Zealand Parliament and former chairman of the Education and Science Committee of the National Assembly, Xu Hengzhen, second inspector of Henan Provincial Department of Education, Song Zhenghui, Secretary of theUniversityParty Committee, Han Guohe, member of the Standing Committee of theUniversityParty Committee and Vice President, and comrades in charge of relevant departments and colleges of the school, Chen Jinming, president of the New Zealand Alumni Association of Zhengzhou University, and some Chinese representatives attends the inauguration ceremony. The ceremony is hosted by Han Guohe.

Song Zhenghui points out that the New Zealand Education Exchange Center is the first overseas education exchange base established in Zhengzhou University. Zhengzhou University will work with universities in New Zealand to strengthen interactive exchanges and in-depth cooperation, to expand cooperation channels, enrich exchange forms and play a demonstrative role, thus creating a first-class Educational Exchange Center and promoting the internationalization ofZhengzhou Universityto a new level and the construction of first-class university to a new phase.

On behalf of the Chinese Consulate General in Auckland, Li Yanguang congratulates on the establishment of the center. He points out that the establishment of the center is a demonstration of implementing the policies of the Central Committee in Zhengzhou University, and the Consulate General is willing to support the exchanges and cooperation between Zhengzhou University and the higher education community in New Zealand.

Xu Hengzhen congratulates on the establishment of the center on behalf of theEducation Departmentof Henan Province. He hopes that Zhengzhou University continues to deepen the level of international exchanges and cooperation based on the center, improve the quality of training international talents, and show the world the beauty of Henan.Yang Zongze and Yang Jian deliver speeches respectively, expressing their expectations for the future development of the center.

After the inauguration ceremony, the participants have in-depth exchanges on how to play the functions and roles of the center and promote the cooperation between Zhengzhou University and universities in New Zealand in terms of teacher-student exchanges, scientific research, and overseas talent recruitment.
