The University's National Engineering Research Center of Rubber & Plastic Mold and the Materials Science Team has recently made new progress in the field of design and application of flexible sensing materials. The results, entitled “Environment Tolerant Conductive Composite Organic Hydrogels as Flexible Strain Sensors and Power Sources for Sustainable Electronics”, were published inAdvanced Functional Materials, a leading journal in the field of Materials. The lead author is Dr. Sun Hongling from the Center, and the corresponding authors are professor Dai Kun from School of Materials Science & Engineering, and Professor Wang Peng from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
