Recently the 16^thICAN College Innovation and Enterprising Competition sponsored by China Information Association came to a successful conclusion.

A total of 11 teams from ZhengZhou University won awards in the finals, including 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 4 third prizes in the innovation part and 2 third prizes in the enterprising part. At the same time, Yao Junhao, a 2019 undergraduate student from the school of Mechanical and Power Engineering, won the “ICAN Innovation Star”. Cui Chao won the “ICAN Education Star” and ZhengZhou University won the “Excellent Organization Award”.

Among them, the “new bionic fishing robot” from the school of Mechanical and Power Engineering under the guidance of Gao Jianshe and Du Shejuan, created by the student team of Ding LeHan, Ma Kaijun, Xiang Peicheng, Xie Wanda and Wang Xizhuo and “EM Powder: R&D and Industrialization of High Performance spherical metal powder for additive manufacturing” from the school of Material Science and Engineering under the guidance of Hao Zhenhua and Shu Yongchun, invented by student team of Niu Zuozhe, Zhang XiuQing,Zhang Huifang, Chen Yuhui and Gao Haiyun won the first prize of the competition. In addition, “AI based on 3D vision” from student team of Wang Zhanqiang from the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, “Dingsheng Copper- the leader of the world-class high-strength and high-thermal conductivity copper roller sleeve” by student Wu Hongbo from the school of Materials Science and Engineering and “ SeBiRenet‘s Motion Posture Evaluation and Correction System”by student Zhu Jiayin from the School of Cyberspace Security won the second prize. “ Liquid Concentration Measurement Device based on minimum Deflection Angle Method “by Jiang Zezong, a student of the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, “Multifunctional Intelligent leg rehabilitation Physiotherapy Instrument”by Liang Zheng’s team, “multifunctional Physiotherapy Robot based on Intelligent Sensor and Internet”by Chen Xisai’s team and “Urban Underground Comprehensive Pipe Gallery”, “Intelligent Pipe Gallery Inspection Robot”by Chen Meize’s team of the International College, and six projects including “Energy Gathering Barrier Clothing-- guardian of environmental friendly key high temperature Equipment”by Zhu Yameng, a student from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and “leader of controllable degradable medical devices in the new era”by Zhao Bin won the third prize of the competition.
