Zhengzhou University (ZZU) won Excellent Organization Award in the thematic educational practice activity Magnificent Mountains and Rivers, sponsored by Education Working Committee of Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Department of Education of Henan Province. Among outstanding individuals selected for commendation, Yang Jianqi and Lv Mengyuan, students from ZZU under the instruction of Cheng Yongzhen, won Excellent Presenter Award for Zhuxian Town Woodblock New Year Paintings. Yang Ming won the Outstanding Individual Award; Li Zhe (Instructor Ma Wenya), Zhang Yongkang (Instructor Guo Pengjie), Liang Like (Instructor Yuan Pingli) and Li Jie (Instructor Zhang Shuhua) won Popular Star Award.
