On May 19, the Fifth Chinese Law Outstanding Achievement Award Commendation Meeting was held in the East Hall on the second floor of the Great Hall of the People. Chen Wenqing, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Central Political and Law Commission, and Wang Chen, president of the China Law Society, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

At the meeting, the outstanding achievements of Chinese Law were commended, and Professor Miao Lianying won the second prize for his academic paper “The Discourse System and Evolution of China’s Constitution Implementation” published in the third issue of China Legal Science in 2021. This is the first time that our province has won this award, marking a new breakthrough in the prosperity of legal research in Henan province.
