On May 22nd, the 12th “My Favorite Teachers” Award Ceremony, hosted by the Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee and the Student Office, and organized by the College of Water Resources and Civil Engineering and the International College, was held at the Study Hall of the South Campus. Wu Hongyang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, with nearly 700 people consisting of officials from relevant functional departments as well as representatives of teachers and students, attended the ceremony.

After four stages of recommendation by faculties, online voting, evaluation by student reviewers and evaluation by the committee, Li Zongfu from the College of Information Management, Wu Xiuyun from the College of Life Sciences, Song Jianxue from the College of Water Resources and Civil Engineering, Zhao Henan from the College of Business, Wei Bo from the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bai Junwei from the College of Medicine (Second Clinical College), Hu Junhua from the College of Materials Science and Engineering, Wang Xin from the College of Music, Guan Xinin from the College of Chemistry, Zhong Wei from the College of Mechanics and Safety Engineering, Li Aimin from the College of Earth Science and Technology, Wan Jianjun from the College of Mathematics and Statistics, Zhou Guoli from the College of Chemical Engineering, Zhou Yawei from the College of History, Li Jia from the College of Water Conservancy and Civil Engineering, Ren Xiaoyan from the College of Physics, Wang Xiaokai from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Yu Hui from the College of Medicine (Fifth Clinical College), Pan Yannan from the College of Journalism and Communication, Li Yan from the College of Cyberspace Security, Mai Wenning from the College of Ecology and Environment, and Li Pan from College of Mechanical and Power Engineering, twenty-two teachers in total, were awarded the honorary title of “My Favorite Teachers” by students of Zhengzhou University. Eleven teachers, including Wu Yunpeng from the College of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, were honored “Mentor and Friend Award”, another eleven teachers, including Zheng Lei from the College of Law, were honored “Charming Classroom Award”, ten teachers, including Ding Chengdong from the College of Calligraphy, were honored “Network Popularity Award”, and another ten teachers, including Cui Zengbao from the College of Philosophy, were honored the “Diligent Cultivation Award”.
