​New breakthroughs in the Discovery of New Targets for Glioma and the Transformation of New Drugs by Professor Qiao Hailing's Team from Zhengzhou University

The research entitled“identification of cytochrome P450 2E1 as a novel target in glioma and development of its inhibitor as an anti-tumor agent” was published online in Advanced Science by Qiao Hailing's team from the Basic Medical School of Zhengzhou University, revealing the new pathogenesis of glioma, new prevention targets and new effective candidate prevention and treatment drugs, which has very positive significance in the development of anti-inflammatory tumor drugs and new therapies.

Professor Qiao Hailing is the corresponding author of the article, Zhengzhou University being the only corresponding author, and doctoral students Hu Guiming and PD Fang Yan the co-first authors of the paper. This research project has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Zhengzhou Science and Technology Major Science and Technology Innovation Project, and Key Science and Technology Research Projects of Henan Province
