To implement the spirit of the CCP's 20th National Congress Report and Present Xi’s general requirements of the work on promoting the construction of a socialist cultural power, and accelerate the construction of the "Three Major Systems" of Chinese art studies. On May 26th, the second academic nomination ceremony of the Chinese National Academy of Arts was held in Beijing. A total of 32 academic nominations were announced, including Zhang Geng's academic nominations in opera, Yang Yinliu's in music, Wang Zhaowen's in fine arts and Feng Qiyong's in Redology. Nearly 100 people, including academic nominees, experts, scholars and media representatives in related fields, participated in the event. Prof. Wang Zichu of ZZU won the “Yang Yinliu Music Academic Nomination” for his book The Archaeology of Chinese Music.
