Recently, iCAN International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held at Kyoto University in Japan. Zhengzhou University, together with the Beijing Institute of Technology and other schools, represented China in the competition, competing in 22 events with representatives from Germany, Japan and Thailand. The team of Niu Zuozhe, Zhang Xiuqing, Zhang Huifang, Chen Yuhui and Gao Haiyun from the School of Materials Science and Engineering under the guidance of teachers Hao Zhenhua and Shu Yongchun has won the Best Contribution Award in the international Finals with the entry “Emme Powder: Research and Development and Industrialization of High-performance Spherical Metal Powder for Additive Manufacturing”.
