From August 9 to 12, the national finals of the 3rd National Collegiate Electrical and Electronic Engineering Innovation Contest, hosted by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering and co-sponsored by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, North China Electric Power University, and others, and undertaken by China Three Gorges University, were held in Yichang City. A total of 3,075 teams from 375 universities in 34 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities nationwide participated in this contest, and ultimately, 152 teams from 78 universities advanced to the finals. Eight teams from the School of Electrical and Information Engineering of Zhengzhou University qualified for the national finals and won 1 national first prize and 6 national second prizes.
